Summer comics program in Portland
In conjunction with the release of our new textbook, Drawing Words & Writing Pictures, Matt Madden and I will be teaching in an intensive comics workshop at the Pacific Northwest College of Art June 21-23. The full, 3-segment workshop is called Graphic Novel Intensive, and will run June 21-29.
Our segment of the workshop will be followed by two more, taught by Daniel Duford and Peter Bagge. The focus of our section will be idea development and story creation.
Registration is open to the public. You can register for one or all of the segments, for credit or not for credit.
