LitGraphic at the Toledo Museum of Art
LitGraphic, the large group comics exhibition that began at the Norman rockwell Museum, has traveled to the Toledo Museum of Art, and will be there until January 3.
Both Matt and I have several pages in the show, but it’s much bigger than that; it’s a really nice selection of pages from across the comics spectrum. To quote: “Artists in the LitGraphic exhibition include Jessica Abel, Sue Coe, R. Crumb, Howard Cruse, Steve Ditko, Will Eisner, Brian Fies, Gerhard, Milt Gross, Marc Hempel, Niko Henrichon, Mark Kalesniko, Peter Kuper, Harvey Kurtzman, Matt Madden, Frans Masereel, Frank Miller, Terry Moore, Dave Sim, Art Spiegelman, Barron Storey, Lynd Ward, Lauren Weinstein, and Mark Wheatley.” We were lucky enough to see it while at was at the Rockwell, and can recommend it.
